Designed under Henri the Fourth, this royal square has kept its historical composition and features with a narrow lot matching the original dwelling and a brick and stone architecture with two floors and an attic above the stores and their basement.
The agenda is based on the hotel’s full rehabilitation and restructuring in order to create a hotel complex of 7 luxurious apartments featuring 3 duplex ones.
The restructuring of the building is lead keeping as much of the original material as possible while adapting the planning to safety standards, energetic control and desired comfort.
An elevator designed not to go through the historical vaults was installed.
Subcontract works and indoor planning also aim at displaying as much of the historical layers as possible for international customers.
The building’s rigorous restoration was also started in order to read its historical evolution on the facade.
