The buildings have been listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments since 1988.
The buildings are located in the southwest of the historic district, in the heart of the site of a former convent built in the 17th century. The site served as a military base in the 19th century, from 1818, vast stables were built in 1892 for 700 horses. After the 2nd World War, the stables were redeveloped to accommodate army vehicles.
In 1991, the land was liberated by the army.
