RENOVATION AND EXTENSION FOR THE NEW HEADQUARTERS OF MAISON CELINE

Paris 2

The Hôtel Colbert de Torcy, formerly Tubeuf, built by Pierre le Muet, is one of the most important hotels in mid-17th century Paris.

Distorted during the Revolution, it was the subject of a first restoration campaign in 1990.

The project to install the headquarters of Maison Céline involved the complete restructuring of the hotel, with the restoration of the historic volumes of the lounges and the gallery, freed from the intermediate floors to accommodate the showrooms, the complete recomposition of the vertical connections by the creation of two new staircases and three elevators. The main staircase has been restored.

A new contemporary wing has been created, completely transparent, under the large glass roof, to accommodate the workshops.
