The first phase of the restoration project of the Villa Viardot in Bougival concerns the stabilization, sanitation, structural consolidation and exterior restoration of the enclosure and roof and the interior restoration with its remarkable set of painted decorations.
This Paladian villa, built in 1830, is located in a park that has remained magnificent, decorated with fountains and rockeries that Pauline Viardot bought in 1874.
The second phase of the project involves the restoration and reconstitution of the park with its fountains, rockeries and remarkable trees, in a historical composition, characteristic of the 1830s.
This restoration and redevelopment will connect the Viardot Villa, the Datcha of Yvan Turgenev, the House of Georges Bizet and the future European Music Center.
