The main castle, whose construction began in the 14th century and continued until the 20th century, is located in a 140-hectare park decorated with follies including: the shell pavilion (1783) and the Queen's dairy (1786). Complete restoration of the facades and roofs of the castle, the marble room, the lounges, the shell pavilion and the Queen's dairy with the replacement of Julien's bas-reliefs.
Complete restoration of the original white sandstone facades, roofs and glass roof. Interior restoration of the cave rock, paving and marble furniture. Reinstallation of the original bas-reliefs by Pierre Julien, deposited in 1803 by J. de Beauharnais for Malmaison, sent to England and returned to France as part of the Wildenstein donation. Integration of museographic constraints of security and conservation. (ERP)
