REHABILITATION, RESTRUCTURING AND RESTORATION OF THE HOTEL HENRI IV

Paris 1st

Created by Henri IV, this Place Royale has retained its historic composition with a narrow plot corresponding to the original subdivision and an ordered architecture in brick and stone with two floors and attics above the shops and their mezzanine.

The program involves the complete rehabilitation and restructuring of the hotel to create a hotel residence with 7 luxury apartments, including 3 duplexes.

The restructuring of the building is being carried out while preserving as many of the original materials and features as possible, while adapting the facilities to the desired safety, energy management and comfort standards.

The creation of an elevator installed without drilling into the historic vaults

The finishing work and interior design also aim to show the historical layers of the building to international customers as much as possible.

The rigorous restoration of the building was undertaken to also restore on the façade a reading of its historical evolution.
