The Bar - Massoury 77
The Domaine de Massoury on the hillside of the right bank of the Seine is an eighteen-hectare property enclosed by walls, largely wooded, with a view of the Fontainebleau national forest. On this vast land, which today constitutes a single land entity, several buildings have existed since the end of the 19th century, the time of the development of these large residences on the banks of the Seine. To the west, the Château de Massoury with its outbuildings. In the center, the Château de la Barre, with its own outbuildings. To the east, service buildings corresponding to an industrial sawmill activity, before their attachment to the property. The operation involved the creation of two side wings of the main body of the Château de la Barre, for the development of a new dining room in the east wing and a large living room in the west wing, with their adjoining spaces and the restructuring of the connecting spaces on the ground floor, first floor and basement. The basement premises, intended for the kitchens, have also been enlarged. The central body has also been restructured and redesigned for the bedrooms and the creation of bathrooms for the owner's guests. The large living room, entirely decorated in Louis XVI style, is equipped with removable bleachers to transform it into an auditorium. The large dining room is fitted out for 40 guests. Paneling, "skies", drapes, curtains, chandelier, lighting, furniture and objects were designed or arranged by GMDP ARCHITECTURE
