SAINT-JEAN ATTIC

Angers, Maine-et-Loire (49)

A former 11th century hospital, the large sick room became the contemporary tapestry museum in the 1990s.

A triple-nave vessel, the building has been restored, stabilized and equipped to make it a cultural space for the city.

In order to preserve all of the space in this magnificent vaulted room, the functional and accessibility equipment has found its place in a double skin created on the gable end of the building.
